ShawChicago, which works under a special agreement with Actors’ Equity, presents Concert Readings of the plays of Bernard Shaw and his contemporaries. We focus on great literary works that allow actors to demonstrate their vocal and acting talents with minimal movement.

Equity auditions from 10 am to 2 pm. Bring your Equity Card.
Non-Equity auditions from 4 – 9 pm. Non-equity actors receive pay.

Appointments can be made until 1 day before auditions if slots are available. Walk-ins are welcomed and will be seen in the order of arrival if time is available.
Prepare two 2-minute monologues from any Shaw play. Need not be memorized. Bring 3 head shots and resumes. Equity members should bring their equity card. Most roles are open.
