Sandra completed her Bachelors degree at Northwestern University’s Bienen School of Music where she studied with Chris Millard, Lewis Kirk, and David McGill. She will is currently finishing her graduate degree at DePaul University under Bill Buchman. She is the Principal Bassoonist of the Chicago Sinfonietta that performs in the Chicago Symphony Center and Wentz Hall. She frequently plays with neighboring orchestras including the Illinois Symphony, Elgin Symphony, Arkansas Symphony and New World Symphony Orchestra.
Julia is originally from Durham, North Carolina and is currently studying Clarinet Performance at DePaul University. She is currently studying with Julie DeRoche, and she has performed in masterclasses taught by Steve Williamson and Larry Combs. Julia plays in multiple ensembles at DePaul, including the Wind Ensemble and the 20+ new music ensemble. She also regularly performs in various chamber groups at DePaul, including string quintets and wind trios.
